The champions are back in action at Ipurua

Barcelona are back in La Liga action after the international break on Saturday at Eibar and have an almost fully-fit squad to choose from for once this season.

However, it’s not as simple as all that as Barca will travel without suspended trio Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo and Ousmane Dembele.

Let’s check on how they might line up at Ipurua.

Defence

Jordi Alba should make his first start since going off injured against Borussia Dortmund and will be a welcome sight back at left-back.

Jean-Clair Todibo is the most likely man to step into central defence alongside Clement Lenglet, although Samuel Umtiti is back in the squad after recovering from injury.

At right-back it looks to be between Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto. Semedo played 180 minutes for Portugal over the international break and could be given a breather.

Midfield

Frenkie de Jong was also busy over the international break, featuring in both of the Netherlands’ Euro 2020 qualifiers, but should keep his place in midfield.

Arthur has been to Singapore and back with Brazil so is another player who could potentially be rotated, although he has been in brilliant form so far this season.

Sergio Busquets was given the night off by Spain earlier this week so should start this one, while Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic are also options for Ernesto Valverde.

Attack

Ousmane Dembele has to sit this one out due to suspension which means we could see Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann in attack once again.

Ansu Fati is an option but is perhaps more likely to start on the bench, while Carles Perez is also in the travelling squad and could see more first-team minutes.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Semedo, Todibo, Lenglet, Alba: De Jong, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Suarez, Griezmann.
