The Uruguayan has been talking about life at Barcelona

Luis Suarez has been talking about life at Barcelona and what the future may hold while on international duty with Uruguay.

The striker talked about the pressure of playing for the Catalan giants, the possibility that the club are looking for his replacement and how long he feels he can go on in an interview with Ovation.

“The demands at Barcelona are immense. Here every three days you have to be taking an exam, there is no rest and you are not forgiven even if you a bad game. It is not easy to come to play a club like Barcelona, to adapt and earn your place.

”If the club are looking for, or wish to bring in another No.9, it is nothing strange, it is the reality of football. I said it a long time ago, there will come a time when my age will not allow me to live up to what Barcelona needs to compete, but as long as I can, as long as I have the strength to compete I will.”

Suarez has come in for criticism again this season but has still managed eight goals in all competitions. He’s also missed a bit of time through injury but returned to action in the 4-1 win over Celta Vigo.

Meanwhile, Barcelona continue to be rumored with a variety of strikers. Inter’s Lautaro Martinez is the name most frequently linked, although the Nerazzurri are likely to demand a huge fee for their Argentine.
