Messi explains the secret of his free-kick success
The GOAT has been studying goalkeepers...
Lionel Messi has been talking about his free-kicks and explained how he has become such a dead-ball specialist.
The Barcelona captain has become lethal from set-pieces around the penalty area in recent seasons and says he has worked hard refining his technique.
“Recently I have been looking into it, and especially in free-kicks, to see if they [goalkeepers] move before, if they make a small movement, if not how they react, how they place the wall.
“It’s true that I am now studying this a bit more. Everything is work and training, I have been getting better with training.”
