Alba forced off with injury against Getafe

Another injury for the Spanish champions

Barcelona have been hit with another injury after Jordi Alba was forced off after just 20 minutes of the club’s La Liga clash with Getafe on Saturday.

The left-back limped off after picking up what looked like a groin problem, and Barca will hope it’s not too serious with a Champions League trip to Napoli and a Clasico on the horizon.

Junior Firpo was the man to replace the Spain international and can expect a run in the first XI now if Alba is sidelined for a little while.

Barcelona are likely to offer an update on Alba’s condition later today, and we’ll bring you any updates as soon as they arrive.
