As per usual in European trips the coach takes the entire squad for an away game except for the injured players, which is why Jordi Alba (groin), Sergi Roberto (thigh), Ousmane Dembélé (hamstring) and Luis Suárez (knee) will watch from home. Even new signing Martin Braithwaite makes the trip despite not being eligible for the competition, and he’ll watch from the stands along with two more players who will be cut from the final 18-man squad, most likely third goalkeeper Iñaki Peña and defender Ronald Araujo.
Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):
Ter Stegen; Semedo, Piqué, Lenglet, Firpo; De Jong, Busquets, Arthur; Messi, Griezmann, Vidal
The match kicks off at 9pm CET/WAT (Barcelona & Nigeria), 8pm GMT (UK), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 1.30am IST (India, Wednesday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
