The Barcelona B star beat team-mate Guillem Jaime to top spot

Alex Collado has seen his strike against Atlético Levante voted the Segunda B goal of the season so far ahead of Barcelona B team-mate Guillem Jaime’s effort against Nastic.

While the football has been on hold the RFEF have organised a vote to discover the season’s best goal with the two Barca B team-mates making it all the way to the final.

Collado scooped top spot ahead of Jaime, grabbing 67% of the vote, although both are great efforts as you can see below.

Collado offered his thanks to everyone who voted for his goal:

“That was a nice goal because everything worked for me. Now I miss training at the Ciutat Esportiva and being with my team-mates, but this is what we have to put up with and I’m just concentrating on staying fit for when we return.

“I’m working hard to fulfil my dream of playing for the first team. But the first goal is to secure promotion to Division 2A. We are looking forward to getting back onto the pitch and enjoying football together with the fans.”

The youngster has already caught Quique Setien’s eye this season. He has been called up to first-team training and included in matchday squads and was a late sub in the defeat to Valencia in January.
