No offers for Arturo Vidal - report

This is different than before

Arturo Vidal, who usually has many teams on the lookout for his transfer, has not presented any offers to Barcelona, and the club itself has not received any offers for him, according to a new report.

The midfielder was wanted by Inter Milan in the last transfer window and there were some reports he was going to try to make a switch, but it ultimately did not come to pass.

The stoppage in play due to the coronavirus health crisis may have made teams gun-shy about spending money for a player over 30, even one with as much of a track record as Vidal.

Barcelona did not let him go in part because the squad was getting too small, given all the injuries and transfers out. Another reason for him staying was his good relationship with others in the squad.
