De Jong’s agent brands Juve rumors ‘complete nonsense’

The midfielder is happy at Barcelona is the message

Frenkie de Jong’s agent, Ali Dursun, has rubbished rumors the midfielder could leave Barcelona for Juventus this summer.

Sport have reported the Serie A champions asked about De Jong when the two sides met to talk transfers. According to the report, Barcelona were quick to shut down the idea of a move for the Dutchman.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf have been in touch with Dursun to talk about the rumors and he has said they were “complete nonsense.” Dursun insisted that Barcelona are happy with De Jong and the feeling is completely mutual.

Barcelona are said to be open to letting many of their stars leave this summer, although it has been reported that they consider Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and De Jong as ‘touchables.”
