Ajax full-back SergiƱo Dest is an option for Barcelona if Nelson Semedo leaves in the summer transfer window, according to his agent Joes Blakborn.
Rumors have surfaced recently that the Catalan giants are keen on the 19-year-old American after an impressive campaign in the Eredivisie.
Blakborn says that Barcelona are interested in Dest but added they are not the only club keen on landing the Ajax starlet.
“SergiƱo is one of the full-back backs in Europe that they follow,” he said.
“They seem to find him an option should NĆ©lson Semedo leave. But I think there are more clubs for which SergiƱo is an option.
“Bayern Munich still wants to take over SergiƱo from Ajax, but at the moment both parties are still far apart. We can’t do anything with that and are in the waiting room for that matter.”

Semedo is one of several Barca players who has been linked with a summer exit. The right-back has reportedly halted contract renewal talks and could be sold.
