Juventus offer De Sciglio to Barcelona - report

He could be part of a player swap

Juventus and Barcelona continue conversations about possible player swaps, and one name reportedly on the table is that of Mattia de Sciglio.

Barcelona are interested in getting a new right-back and the Italian, who plays mostly on the right but often on the left, fits the bill.

He could either replace or provide competition for Nélson Semedo, especially if Sergi Roberto returns to midfield. Supposedly, Quique Setién is interested in moving Roberto to the middle.

De Sciglio is said to not be in manager Maurizio Sarri’s plans, while Barcelona do appreciate his talent. However, it is understood that the Catalans only want him for a good price, likely as part of a larger deal involving several players.
