Napoli tell Barca to pay €60m for Fabian Ruiz - report
The midfielder could be on the move this summer
Napoli have reportedly told Barcelona they want €60 million for midfielder Fabian Ruiz in the summer transfer window.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Serie A side have named their price for the 24-year-old and it’s not as high as was originally expected.
Barcelona are thought to be keen to bring in a midfielder this summer to replace Ivan Rakitic who is expected to depart the club after six years.
Fabian is wanted by both Real Madrid and Barca, although Lautaro Martinez and Neymar remain the Spanish champions’ top targets.
Manager Quique Setien is a big fan of Fabian, and worked with him at Real Betis, while his assistant Eder Sarabia has recently revealed he came back with the midfielder’s shirt after Barca’s clash with Napoli in the Champions League.
Fabian is contracted to Napoli until 2023 but is believed to be unwilling to renew and may fancy a return to La Liga.
