Ansu Fati staying at Barcelona

Today’s rumors start off with news that you can forget all about Ansu Fati leaving Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

According to ESPN, the talented teenager will stay but could rotate between Barca B and the first team, although he will always train with the senior side.

Barcelona continue to be linked with Lautaro Martinez and Neymar but are keen to keep hold of Ansu and have high hopes he can develop into a top star.

Bayer Leverkusen prepare offer for Emerson

Over in Germany there is news that Bayer Leverkusen are thinking about making a pretty decent offer for Emerson, who is currently with Real Betis.

Kicker report the Bundesliga team are thinking about a bid of between €20 and €30m for the 21-year-old Brazilian.

Leverkusen are also willing to include a buyback option in the deal which may suit Barcelona if they do decide to sell.

Barca love De Bruyne but ...

Mundo Deportivo have an interesting report about how Barcelona would love to sign Kevin de Bruyne but are well aware that is one deal that’s not happening any time soon.

The Belgian has put clubs on alert by admitting recently he might have to consider his future if Man City’s Champions League ban is upheld.

If De Bruyne were to become available there would be no shortage of suitors, but Barcelona don’t have the finances at the moment and already have way too many midfielders.

Juan Bernat on Barca’s radar

And finally we end with news that Barcelona are keeping an eye on PSG’s left-back Juan Bernat as they seek competition for Jordi Alba.

Sport report he’s a good fit for the Spanish champions, is out of contract next year and would quite like to return to La Liga.
