Schuster: I’d sell the Costa Brava to bring Neymar back

‘I’ve never seen a trident like Messi, Suárez and Neymar.’

Former Barcelona midfielder Bernd Schuster spoke about Neymar and Barcelona this week. The 60-year-old, if you don’t know who he is, played for both Barcelona and Real Madrid before eventually managing Real Madrid in his post-playing career.

The German made it pretty clear how important he thought bringing Neymar back to Barcelona was. He said he would “sell the Costa Brava” to facilitate the move.

“The return of Luis Suárez seems to me fundamental for Messi and Barça. I would sell the Costa Brava and bring Neymar back. I’ve never seen a trident like Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar.”

Few could argue that they’ve seen a trio more potent in recent memory than the Messi, Neymar, and Suarez combination. The return of Neymar is on everyone’s mind this summer. Only time will tell if it can become a reality or not.
