Dembele was raging after latest injury, says Lenglet
The forward is working hard to get back soon
Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet has been talking about Ousmane Dembele and how he’s getting on as he recovers from his latest injury.
The forward was ruled out for six months in February after suffering a torn hamstring, which Lenglet admits made him pretty angry.
However, Dembele is closing in on a return to action and Lenglet says he’s working hard to get back out on the pitch again.
“He is trying his best. He has a different program and is working with the club to recover quickly. Also the coronavirus stoppage has helped him a little. We don’t know if it will be at the end of the season, but he works to make it as fast as possible,” he said.
“We still don’t know because Ousmane has had serious injuries and it depends a lot on his body and on the way he recovers, but of course we want him to come back quickly because he has a style that helps us a lot when he plays and that is very different from what that we have right now.
“Well, I think he’s fine now. He had a bad time because getting injured again before playing caused him rage
“Now he is much better, wanting to return, but doing everything perfectly to return without risking.”

It seems unlikely Dembele will play again this season, although there have been suggestions he could feature in the Champions League which is expected to resume in August.
