Quique Setien’s side are back on Saturday

Barcelona are finally back in action on Saturday when they take on Real Mallorca in a match that will be eagerly-anticipated given the long lay-off.

Quique Setien has an almost fully-fit squad to choose from, only Ousmane Dembele is currently sidelined, although Clement Lenglet will miss out through suspension.

Let’s have a look at how Barca could line up in their first game back.

Defence

Setien doesn’t have too many decisions to make in defence. Marc-Andre ter Stegen will start in goal with Samuel Umtiti almost certain to partner Gerard Pique.

Jordi Alba will continue at left-back, while Sergi Roberto looks likely to start on the right side with Nelson Semedo’s involvement a doubt after he trained alone on Thursday.

Midfield

Barcelona’s midfield selection should be a bit more interesting. Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong look automatic starters but there’s three players fighting for the last spot.

Ivan Rakitic, Arthur and Arturo Vidal are all fit and available and none of the trio will want to be on the bench for the first game back.

Attack

Will Luis Suarez start at Mallorca? That’s the big question in attack for Setien who has already stated the Uruguayan won’t play all 90 minutes.

Barca do have plenty of options if Setien does want to be ultra cautious at Son Moix.

Martin Braithwaite and Ansu Fati are both fit and could feature alongside Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Roberto, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; Vidal, Busquets, De Jong; Messi, Suarez, Griezmann.
