Barcelona in talks to bring Eric Garcia back - report

The defender is wanted this summer

Barcelona are reportedly in talks with Manchester City over a move to bring Eric Garcia back to the Camp Nou this summer.

According to Sport, the 19-year-old is Barca’s top target to strengthen their defence and they are in negotiations with Pep Guardiola’s side.

Garcia is actually out of contract at the end of next season, and will be available as a free agent, but Barcelona are in a rush and want him now.

The defender joined Barcelona at the age of seven and came through La Masia but left for Manchester City in 2017. Sport reckon Barca have continued to follow him though.

He’s played 13 times for Guardiola’s side this season and started Thursday’s 4-0 hammering of newly-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool.
