Barcelona won’t risk Dembele against Napoli - report
But he could be fit for the quarter-finals if they progress
Barcelona won’t risk Ousmane Dembele for their Champions League last-16 second leg against Napoli but could use the Frenchman in the quarter-finals should they progress.
According to ESPN, Quique Setien is hopeful he will be able to use Dembele if Barca make it through to the final eight tournament in Lisbon.
The Frenchman returned to training this week, although he’s still working on his own and hasn’t yet joined with the group.

The report reckons that Barca are unwilling to rush Dembele but do believe he could be ready to go by the time the quarter-finals come around.
If Barcelona do beat Napoli they are likely to face Bayern Munich for a place in the semi-finals, with the game scheduled for Friday, 14 August.
Dembele hasn’t played for Barcelona yet in 2020, indeed his last appearance was eight months ago in the Champions League win over Dortmund.
