Xavi given all-clear and returns to work with Al-Sadd
Some good news from the legend
Xavi has confirmed he has recovered from Covid-19 and has been allowed home after a spell in isolation.
The club legend confirmed at the weekend that he had tested positive, forcing him to miss Al-Sadd’s game win over Al Khor.
Xavi has now confirmed in a post in Instagram that he’s back home and is recovered.
“Thank you so much for all the caring messages that I’ve received during these days. I want to share with you that I’m recovered and back home with my family and the Al Sadd team.”
Al-Sadd also announced on Wednesday in a statement on their website that Xavi had been warmly welcomed back to work.
“On Wednesday, Maran witnessed the return of Coach Xavi Hernandez after he recovered from infection with the Corona virus (Covid 19), which he was exposed to about 14 days ago.
“Everyone within the team was keen to welcome the coach, especially the leader is facing strong challenges during the next stage. This also welcomed the team members to the newcomer Rodrigo Tabata, who joined the leader one a season-long contract.”
