Garcia Pimienta signs on at Barcelona B

The coach has signed his new deal

Barcelona confirmed on Thursday that Barca B coach Francesc Xavier Garcia Pimienta has officially put pen to paper on his new contract the Camp Nou.

The 45-year-old will continue in charge for at least another season, although the deal does include the option of one more.

“Francesc Xavier Garcia Pimienta has today signed his Barça B contract renewal, meaning that he will remain as coach until June 30, 2021, and the deal can be extended for another season.”

Barca B are currently preparing for the play-offs which will see the winners promoted to the Second Division A. The team take on Valladolid Promesas on July 19 in Marbella.
