Pep gives Eric Garcia update amid Barcelona rumors

The defender is wanted back at the Camp Nou

Pep Guardiola has been talking about Eric Garcia’s future amid speculation Barcelona want to bring the 19-year-old back to the Camp Nou.

The Catalans have reportedly been in talks with Manchester City over a move for Garcia and are keen to bring him back this summer.

Guardiola says his club will do all they can to keep Garcia but admits the final decision will be the youngster’s.

“We have one more year - if they want him they must call Txiki,” he said.

“We’ll try to convince him to stay here for many years. I’m confident he will stay, but it’s his decision.”
