The club are ready to wave goodbye to some big names
Barcelona are reportedly looking at forcing pay cuts on certain players in the offseason into next season. The impending transformation of Barcelona will certainly include some player rotation in the offseason. However, there are certainly players who may be less than willing to leave.
The report says that Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Ivan Rakitic are the three high earners who Barcelona are targeting to leave this summer. Given the age of the players and the high salaries they each maintain, moving them becomes difficult.
If that’s the case, Barcelona apparently plan to impose a pay cut on the players. How will they accomplish this? No one knows. A classic Bartomeu plan.
