The former striker will join the coaching staff

Henrik Larsson is being tipped to return to Barcelona with Ronald Koeman and be part of the Dutchman’s coaching team at the Camp Nou.

According to reports, Koeman wants Alfred Schreuder as his assistant at Barcelona but is also keen to have Larsson on his team.

AS report that it is Koeman’s “express wish” to have Larsson on his coaching staff, and the former striker could work “specifically” with the club’s forwards.

The report reckons that Larsson could be tasked with developing some of the club’s youngsters such as Ansu Fati and new arrival Francisco Trincao.

Koeman is expected to be unveiled as Barca boss this week on an initial two-year deal.

The Dutchman was spotted arriving at Barcelona airport on Tuesday, while Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed in an interview Koeman is expected to replace Quique Setien.
