Emerson, who is currently on loan to Real Betis, is wanted by two famous clubs, according to rumors. He has yet to wear a Barcelona shirt, but the Brazilian is one of the Catalan giants’ hottest prospects in the transfer market.

Paris Saint-Germain is the latest club to be linked with Emerson, after interest from AC Milan was reported earlier this month. The Italian club reportedly offered 20 million for Emerson, but Barcelona said no.

It is understood that Barcelona could use Emerson as a way of facilitating the deal for Neymar, who almost came to the Camp Nou last year. The deal was ultimately never sealed, and Neymar remains in Paris until 2022, according to his contract. That is, unless an offer is accepted. However, Barcelona have been impacted by the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which could limit their ability to make a huge offer for Neymar.

The right-back is with Betis until 2021.
