Leicester City bid on Barcelona wonderkid Francisco Trincão - report
The player has not even arrived in Catalonia
Francisco Trincão hasn’t even landed in Barcelona and already he is being linked with big moves. Earlier reports had told of a Premier League team that had made a bid worth around 60 million euro for the young Portuguese attacker.
The team behind that offer could be Leicester City. although the terms are a bit different than the bid originally reported. It is said the Foxes want to take him on a two-year loan with an obligation to buy worth 50 million euro.
Barcelona would be making a tidy profit in a quick time. Trincão was bought from Braga for 31 million in the winter transfer window. He’s yet to make an appearance for the Catalans, as he is slated to join starting next season.
It is said the blaugrana do not plan on selling, but their need to raise cash is well known. Several clubs are reportedly lining up to bid on him as Trincão finished the Portuguese league strongly after the coronavirus break.
Atalanta are also linked but the report says they’re not in the running at the moment.
The English club that is trying to get Francisco Trincão from Barcelona is Leicester.
