The duo could depart this summer

Barcelona are reportedly ready to offload young midfielders Alex Collado and Monchu this summer.

The duo were both on the fringes of the first team by the end of last season but could be sold before the start of the new campaign, according to Marca.

Valencia, Sassuolo and Genoa are all said to be keen on Monchu, while Collado is also said to have attracted plenty of interest.

The report reckons that if the duo leave then Ilaix Moriba and Konrad de la Fuente could make the step up to Barcelona B.

Ilaix and Konrad are training with the first team currently, as new boss Ronald Koeman takes a check on the club’s youngsters.

Sassuolo CEO, Giovanni Carnevali spoke about the possibility of signing Monchu back in July and admitted his club were interested. The 20-year-old was handed his Barcelona debut as a late substitute in the Champions League win over Napoli.
