The defender is off to Greece for the season

Moussa Wague is reportedly set to leave Barcelona again and join Greek side PAOK on a season-long loan.

The 22-year-old has not been called up by Ronald Koeman for any pre-season friendlies so far which means it’s pretty clear he’s not in his plans for 2020-21.

Wague is now set for another loan spell and is expected to complete his move, which will reportedly include an option to buy, to PAOK in the coming days.

The Senegal international arrived at Barcelona in 2018 but has struggled to make much of an impact at the Camp Nou.

He initially played for Barca B but was given a first-team place, and the No. 16 shirt, in August last year. He made three appearances for the club last season before heading to Nice on loan.

Yet Wague only managed five outings for the French side before the Ligue 1 season was called off in April 2020 due to Covid-19.
