Ter Stegen sends goodbye message to Ivan Rakitic

The midfielder has left for Sevilla

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has sent a goodbye message to Ivan Rakitic following his departure for Sevilla.

The Germany international took to social media to offer his best wishes to his team-mate and also thank him for the memories.

Rakitic was at Barcelona today for a farewell ceremony and to say his goodbyes to the players who are currently taking part in pre-season training.

Ter Stegen is currently recovering from knee sugery which means he’ll miss the start of the new season, and he is not expected to return to action until November.
