García Pimienta thrilled with Barcelona B win

The team started beat Nastic on Sunday

Barcelona B boss Francisco Javier García Pimienta was thrilled with his team after they began the season with a 1-0 win over Nastic.

Arnau Comas was the match-winner for the hosts with the only goal of the game just before the hour, and Garcia Pimienta was full of praise for his team after the win.

“This victory has a lot of merit, we had a Nàstic team in front of us who will surely be among the top three finishers. We were faithful to our style, but when it was necessary to compete, the players gave everything.

“I am very happy for them because they played like real experts in Segunda B. I insisted last week that it was impossible to win if we weren’t one hundred percent, and the players have understood it.”

It’s a great start for García Pimienta whose side narrowly missed out on promotion last season. He has another pretty exciting team for 2020-21 and will be hoping his team can challenge again in the new campaign.
