Lopez picks up fresh injury on return to Barca training
Another setback
Fermin Lopez has been hit by another injury setback after suffering a problem on his return to Barcelona training.
The Spain star was back with the first team on Tuesday and had been tipped to make the Champions League squad to face Monaco.
However, Barcelona have now confirmed that Lopez has sustained another injury and will miss the next three weeks.

A statement read: “During training this morning, FermÃn López suffered an injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his right quadriceps. He is expected to be out around three weeks.”
It’s not a recurrence of his previous injury but a fresh problem that looks set to keep him out until after the international break in another blow to Hansi Flick.
The German has also lost Dani Olmo to injury this week, meaning he will have to make at least one change to his team for Thursday’s Champions League opener against Monaco.
Flick will be hoping the rest of his squad can stay healthy with a busy fixture list coming up over the next few weeks at home and in Europe.
