Pau Cubarsí called up by Spain
The youngster replaces the injured Pau Torres
Barcelona center-back Pau Cubarsí has been called up by Spanish national team manager Luis de la Fuente as an injury replacement to Pau Torres for La Roja’s Nations League matches against Denmark and Switzerland, the Spanish Football Federation announced on Wednesday.

Cubarsí was orginally left out of the squad because of a nasty cut he suffered due to a kick to the face in the Champions League win against Red Star Belgrade a week ago, which then forced him to wear a mask in the La Liga defeat to Real Sociedad at the weekend.
When asked about leaving Cubarsí out of the squad last week, De La Fuente said “we always take care of our players” and “must not take any risks”, but he appears to have changed his mind pretty quickly.
Cubarsí joins Pedri, Dani Olmo and Marc Casadó as the four Barça players in the Spain squad for their November matches. Lamine Yamal had been called up as well, but the winger was ruled out with an ankle injury that could cause him to miss as many as three weeks of action.
