Barcelona confirm Ansu Fati out with knee injury
A bad blow for Ronald Koeman’s side
Barcelona confirmed on Saturday that forward Ansu Fati has suffered a knee injury and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
It’s a bad blow for Ronald Koeman’s men as the 18-year-old has been in fine form so far this season, scoring five times and producing two assists.
Fat was taken off at half-time against Real Betis, and it seems it may be a while until we see him in action again.
LATEST NEWS ‼ Tests carried out this afternoon have shown that Ansu Fati has an internal meniscus tear in his left knee. The treatment to be followed will be determined in the coming days. pic.twitter.com/CF3FZaur5P

Barca have stopped short of saying how long Fati will be out for and it will depend on how much treatment is required.
Initial estimates suggest he could be out for 4-6 weeks if he does not require surgery, but it might be more like 3-4 months if he does go under the knife.
Get well soon Ansu Fati!
