‘I want to be a player at Camp Nou for many more years and keep winning trophies’

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has highlighted his commitment to the club in a new video he’s posted on social media.

The Germany international, who is just back from knee surgery, signed a contract extension last month that will keep at the Camp Nou until 2025 and has a release clause of €500 million.

Before he put pen to paper there were whispers of interest from other clubs, but Ter Stegen has made it clear in his video just how committed he is to the Catalan giants.

It’s good to see Ter Stegen speak about his happiness at the club and how he was always keen to sign a new contract. He also talks about how there is “no greater motivation” than “to be a player at Camp Nou for many more years and keep winning trophies.”

Yet it’s been even better to see him back in action and in top form against Dynamo Kiev and Real Betis in Barcelona’s last two games even though Neto did a pretty good job while he was out.

Ter Stegen is training with Barcelona over ther international break, having agreed not to join up with Germany after only just returning from injury, as the club start to prepare for a crucial clash next time out against Atletico Madrid.
