Todibo was sent out on loan to Benfica in October but has struggled for game time in Portugal and will now try his luck with the Ligue 1 side.
Barca confirmed the deal also includes a purchase option:
“FC Barcelona and Benfica have reached an agreement to terminate the loan of the player Jean-Clair Todibo, who will now go on loan to OGC Nice until June 30.
“The French club will be taking charge of the player’s licence and holds on option to purchase him for 8.5 million euros, plus 7 million euros in variables.”

The move is Todibo’s third loan since joining Barcelona two years ago. The defender spent time with Bundesliga side Schalke last season, with the loan also including a purchase option, but returned to the Camp Nou after making 10 appearances for the German club.
