Barca have ‘growing doubts’ about Koeman continuing
Some board members are ‘keen to start afresh’
Well. We’ve arrived everyone. According to a report from ESPN, the Barcelona board are reportedly uncertain about Ronald Koeman’s future at the club.
It didn’t take all that long. A potentially single trophy season and lackluster showing in the Champions League have left the Barcelona board a bit unclear as to what they want from the manager going forward.
I find myself strangely enough in defense of Koeman in this weird season. Barcelona are clearly not talented enough to be a top-five team in the Champions League. The La Liga title race is a bit murkier, but the differences between where they are now and at the beginning of the season are drastically different.
Time will tell just how uncertain the Barca board are about Koeman, but needless to say, if Barca don’t win La Liga, things will move quickly.
