The trio are part of a very strong squad

Barcelona trio Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, and Clement Lenglet have all been called up to the France squad for this summer’s European Championship.

Didier Deschamps has named an incredibly strong squad for the tournament and has caused a stir by also calling up Karim Benzema for the first time in almost six years.

Benzema has not played for his country since allegedly being involved in a sex tape blackmail plot involving former France teammate Mathieu Valbuena.

The Real Madrid striker also had a bit of a pop at Olivier Giroud fairly recently which also adds a bit more spice to his inclusion.

It’s no surprise to see Griezmann, who is fourth on the list of France’s all-time goalscorers, included in the squad or Ousmane Dembele who earned a recall earlier this year after overcoming his injury problems.

Clement Lenglet may be relieved to have received his call-up. The center-back has endured a torrid time at Barcelona this season and won’t feature in the team’s final game due to suspension after being sent off against Celta Vigo.
