Here’s a fun rumor

The summer transfer window is fast approaching which always makes for some fun rumors and the latest concerns Antoine Griezmann and Joao Felix.

According to Catalunya Radio, Barca would be happy to hand Griezmann back to Atletico in the summer and take Felix off their hands in return.

The chances of that actually happening appear pretty slim. Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has been talking about Felix and pretty much ruled out a summer departure.

“Possibilities of Joao Félix leaving this summer?” he said. “None, he has to adapt. The day he takes off, he’ll become one of the most important players in football. The players aren’t machines.”

Cerezo did, however, get quite excited about the thought of having Griezmann back at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium

“Griezmann? He is a magnificent player and I hope to get him back, but I don’t think Barça wants to get rid of him. Any team would be delighted to have a player like him.”

There have been a few whispers already that Barca are prepared to sell Griezmann this summer if a decent offer comes along.

It’s not quite clear where he’d go, apparently PSG are not one of the Frenchman’s “favored options” this summer which means the Premier League may be a possible destination.
