Early reports suggest the injury is not too serious and Mingueza will only miss two or three weeks. He joins Sergio Aguero, Ansu Fati, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Ousmane Dembele on the injured list.
Meanwhile, Mingueza’s Olympic teammates Eric Garcia and Pedri are due back in training later this week. It’s thought the two players will be back on Wednesday or Thursday.
