Barcelona receive loan offers for Umtiti - report
The Frenchman is wanted in France and Turkey
Barcelona remain keen to offload center-back Samuel Umtiti this summer and have reportedly received offers for the defender from several clubs.
Turkish side Besiktas and French clubs Nice and Monaco are all willing to bring in Umtiti on loan, according to Diario Sport.
Umtiti has previously made it clear he doesn’t want to leave, but the report reckons he’s been told he won’t play if he does stay on this season.
There’s also a suggesion that Umtiti was holding out for a better offer than the ones he has received but there simply hasn’t been any interest from Europe’s top clubs.
Umtiti has played regularly in pre-season for Barca but was upset after being booed during the Joan Gamper Trophy and walked straight off the pitch at full time.
It’s not clear yet if Umtiti would be willing to accept any of the offers received but Barca are hoping he will depart which will help reduce the wage bill.
