After being confirmed the new FC Barcelona coach for the 2024/25 season and witnessing the handball team's European tournament win last weekend first-hand, the German was at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Tuesday to start making plans for the coming season. Eleven blaugranes in six different national teams will fight to become European Champions in 2024. The tournament which takes place in Germany and begins on Friday 14 June with the final to come on 14 July. This year's edition is a special one as Barça have set another record: 11 players from the Club will be involved in the tournament, surpassing the 10 who took part in the delayed Euro 2020 championships in 2021.
