The Colombia international is a reported Barça target

Luis Díaz has been a subject of major speculation regarding his Liverpool future thanks to the heavy links of the Colombian forward with a move to Barcelona, who are looking to reshape the squad under the image of new manager Hansi Flick and reportedly see in Díaz the perfect left winger to add to the group.

Some rumors even go as far as claiming Barça are willing to sell Raphinha, who is the subject of much exit speculation himself with constant links to Saudi Arabia Pro League and Premier League clubs, to fund a potential move for Díaz in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Díaz was asked about his future in an interview while preparing for the upcoming Copa América with Colombia, and the winger’s answer might mean bad news for any Barça fans hoping he could come.

“I’m very happy there at Liverpool, it’s a great team and club, I’ve always wanted to play there, so I’m very happy and relaxed.

It remains to be seen if new Liverpool boss Arne Slot also wants to keep Díaz, but that does appear to be the sentiment amongst most who report on Liverpool matters. Luis Díaz to Barça seems more like a dream than anything else at this point, but you never do know in the transfer market.
