Madrid could be about to wreck Deco’s Wirtz dream

Deco’s dream of signing Florian Wirtz for Barcelona in 2025 could be about to be wrecked by rivals Real Madrid.
It was reported recently that if Barcelona had money to spend next year, then Deco would jump at the chance to land the Bayer Leverkusen star.
However, Marca are now reporting that Real Madrid have just agreed personal terms with Wirtz over a move to the Bernabeu in 2025.
Wirtz has apparently agreed to stay with the Bundesliga side for another 12 months but could then move on.
There’s a suggestion the deal could cost Los Blancos around 150 million euros and a confidence that Wirtz will head to the Spanish capital.
It’s a big change for Wirtz he said he “always wanted to play for Barcelona” when he was a child, but it seems he could well end up playing for the club’s bitter rivals instead.
