Pedri responds to Kroos as he posts message to fans

Pedri has sent out a message after being ruled out of Euro 2024 following an ugly challenge by Toni Kroos during Spain’s quarter-final win over Germany.
The Barcelona midfielder has been diagnosed with a knee sprain and won’t play again but will stay with the Spain squad for the rest of the tournament.
Kroos has said he didn’t intend to hurt Pedri, in a message on social media, and the Barca star has now responded.
“This week it’s time to encourage and contribute in another way to this great family that is @sefutbol. Their support and that of all of you has been incredible. The hardest moment has passed and the road back is now beginning, to soon be at full strength with Barcelona,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you, Toni Kroos for your message. This is football and these things happen. Your career and your record remain forever.
“I just want to say one more thing. LET’S GO SPAIN!”
Pedri will be cheering from the sidelines when Spain return to action. They take on France aiming for a place in the final against either England or the Netherlands.
