PSG trying to agree terms with Nico Williams
But it won’t be easy
PSG are reportedly trying to agree personal terms with Nico Williams and convince the Athletic Club star to head to France instead of Barcelona.
There’s already been speculation that Williams is a target for PSG, and they are willing to pay double the salary on offer by Barca, with the latest update suggesting the club are still in the running.
RMC Sport reporter Fabrice Hawkins says PSG want to agree terms with Nico but adds it will “not be easy.”
Barcelona are thought to be ahead of PSG in the race to land the Euro 2024 star even though doubts remain over whether they can afford to do the deal.
PSG are said to have other targets, such as Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho, but are still in the running.
Williams is still on holiday after helping Spain win Euro 2024 but it’s thought there could be some movement on his future shortly.
Barca are hoping he will agree a move to Catalunya but could go for Dani Olmo if they miss out on the 22-year-old.
