Yamal reveals chats with new Barcelona boss Hansi Flick
The two have a good relationship already
Lamine Yamal has revealed he’s already chatting with new Barcelona manager Hansi Flick ahead of the start of the new La Liga season.
The teenager is still with the Spain squad at Euro 2024, preparing for Sunday’s final against England, and won’t be back in pre-season with Flick for a little while.
However, he has been in contact with his new boss - who has already make one accurate prediction about Yamal at the tournament.
“Me and Flick often talk on WhatsApp. Before the match against France, he told me that I was going to score, and that’s what happened,” he told RAC1.
“After the game, we spoke again. Even if it’s just messages, I’m happy to already have good relations with him.”
Yamal and Spain team-mates Pedri, Fermin Lopez and Ferran Torres will conclude their Euro 2024 campaign on Sunday and then enjoy some time off before returning to work with their new manager.
