The Brazilian is leaving

Barcelona have reportedly agreed to send Vitor Roque out on loan to Real Betis following transfer negotiations between the two clubs

The Catalans have been holding talks over a move for the Brazilian, with Joaquin saying the club were happy after the negotiations.

Reports in Spain are now claiming the deal is done, with Betis taking over “almost all” of his salary for the season.

Relevo claim that Barcelona rejected a permanent offer from Sporting as Vitor Roque preferred Betis and the club are still hoping he can have a future at the club.

Real Betis president Angel Haro has already told Mundo Deportivo that they club won’t sign Vitor Roque permanently this summer.

“Betis is not going to contemplate a purchase of this magnitude. It does not make sense this year. In other seasons we could,” he added.

The move does mean the Brazilian can hopefully gain somer regular minutes under Manuel Pellegrini and potentially show whether he really does have the talent to succeed in La La Liga.
