The striker may only have a knock

Barcelona are currently sweating on Robert Lewandowski’s fitness ahead of some crucial fixtures after seeing their top scorer pick up a knock on international duty.

The striker was spotted limping after Poland’s clash with Croatia but the feeling is that it’s not a problem that will keep him sidelined for any length of time.

Indeed Lewandowski returned to Barcelona on Wednesday and seemed to be walking without any difficulty when he arrived at the airport.

The striker will now undergo tests, with doctors “optimistic” he will be OK and able to play against Sevilla, according to Jijantes.

Yet it’s still a worry for Barcelona ahead of games against Sevilla, Bayern and Real Madrid, particularly with Lamine Yamal also having picked up a knock with Spain.

Hansi Flick is also without Ferran Torres due to injury, while Raphinha could be rested against Sevilla as he’s not yet back from international duty with Brazil.

Lewandowski has been in superb form this season. He currently sits top of the Pichichi standings with 10 goals from nine games in La Liga this season.
