He can’t stop scoring!

Raphinha continued his great form this season with two goals for Brazil in a 4-0 win over Peru in World Cup qualifying.

The Barcelona forward bagged two penalties for Dorival Junior’s side, with Andreas Pereira and Luis Henrique also on target in a comfortable win.

They were a couple of fine spot-kicks too from the Brazilian. The first went low to the goalkeeper’s right, and the second went the other side.

The goals mean that since the 2018 World Cup, no player has scored more goals for Brazil at home than Raphinha. He now has six during that period - the same amount as Neymar.

“I think we needed this, it was really important winning both games to get back on track,” he told Globo. “They were two games that we managed to control. It’s a long way from perfect, but I believe we’re on the right track.”

In total Raphinha now has 14 goals and assists in 13 games for club and country this season, a superb record and one Barcelona will hope he can maintain when he returns to the club from international duty.

Raphinha is now due to jet back to Barcelona and will hope to be involved on Sunday when the team return to action against Sevilla in La Liga.
