Yamal helped Spain to win Euro 2024 in the summer and has become a key player for club side Barcelona who currently top the Liga table.
The award is handed out every year to the best Under-21 player in Europe by Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
Previous Barcelona winners have included Pedri and Gavi, while a certain Lionel Messi won it all the way back in 2005.
It’s not the only award Yamal has picked up recently. He claimed the Kopa Trophy at the Ballon d’Or awards and can surely look forward to many more prizes if he continues his current trajectory.
Yamal wasn’t the only winner at the awards as Vicky Lopez won the Golden Girl trophy and Aitana Bonmati took home the Golden Woman award.
