‘Everything was perfect’ - Casado thrilled with Spain debut
The youngster featured against Denmark
Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado was a happy man after making his debut for Spain in Friday’s 2-1 win over Denmark.
Casado came on as a second-half substitute in the game in Copenhagen and said it was a pretty perfect night for him.
“I feel a lot of satisfaction. In moments like this you remember the people who have accompanied you along the way, the family and friends who have helped me so much. I’m very happy,” he told reporters.
“Everything went well – the victory, securing first place in the group, and on top of that, the debut. Everything was perfect.”
The outing continues what’s been a great season for Casado so far. He’s broken into the first team at Barcelona and put in some really impressive performances for Hansi Flick’s side.
Casado will now be hoping for more minutes on Monday when Spain take on Switzerland.
