Lewandowski to feature for Barca vs Celta, Yamal will miss out
Mixed news for Hansi Flick
Robert Lewandowski trained as normal on Thursday for Barcelona and is expected to be passed fit for Saturday’s trip to Celta Vigo.
The striker missed out on Poland duty over the international break due to a back injury but looks set to feature at Balaidos.
It’s a different story for Lamine Yamal. He worked out in the gym and is not expected to play against Celta. There are also doubts now about whether he will play in the Champions League clash against Brest in midweek.
Eric Garcia and Ferran Torres also took some part in the session and are close to returning from injury, although it’s not clear yet if they will make Flick’s squad list.
Fermin Lopez could continue in the team in place of Yamal. The Spain star started last time out against Real Sociedad and may continue, particularly with Ferran a doubt and Ansu Fati out injured.
